Jim began his career in software and product development at Motorola. At KPMG, he evaluated financial and information systems. When Jim became Chief Financial Officer of the Chicago Park District, he directed the turnaround of the organization’s $390M operating budget. The University of Chicago recruited Jim as its Director of Administration for the newly formed Becker Friedman Institute for Research in Economics.
Jim lives in Chicago, where he spends the weekends with his two favorite hobbies, Bytes and Sawdust.
